Michael Miller created a workbook to aid the development of Presbyterian campus ministries by congregations not affiliated with the colleges or universities in their area. The workbook contains six sections, each with instructions for facilitating group activities. Through these activities participants are encouraged to think of how a campus ministry can be created by a local congregation and how the relationship between churches and colleges can be strengthened. Activities include discussing the ways that the coming generation of college students can learn about Christian faith, reading about the historical connection between churches and higher education, and comparing the “culture” of a given congregation with that of a nearby college or university.
