This bibliography is introduced by a broad survey essay which traces definitional issues in the field, and clarifies the categories used in the bibliography. Those categories include: foundations of religious education; educational theory; religious education theory; administration of religious education; program, curriculum and method; religion and the school; religion and higher education; and reference works. The bibliography also contains a name index, a subject index and a title index. While not definitive in scope, this bibliography is an excellent place from which to begin any search in the field. (MH)
