This volume contains papers discussed at a Symposium on Theological Education for Socially Responsible Ministry in January, 1987. The eight contributors to this monograph from a variety of denominational backgrounds consider from different perspectives how seminaries can prepare ministers to make a public difference through a socially responsible ministry. The work includes in its appendix a set of questions with which seminaries can assess the character of their educational efforts in social ministry.
