Sano is concerned with the development of reflective practitioners as a primary goal of theological education. His focus is on the congregation and the ordering of congregational life in social context. Three sets of resources -- scientific, biblical, and theological -- are essential for integrity and unity in faith and practice. Salvation includes redemption and restoration beyond the limited focus on reconciliation that dominates Euro-American tradition. (RG)
