Peter Halvorson of the University of Connecticut conducted an analysis of 19th and 20th century denominational change patterns. Halvorson created a 19th and 20th century denominational archive. This archive enabled Halvorson to publish a detailed monograph entitled, "Atlas of American Religion." Halvorson's book provides a thorough explanation and analysis of patterns of change in the American religious landscape from 1950-1990.
