In cooperation with Emmanuel College of Victoria University, Roger Hutchinson and Phyllis Airhart conducted a number of related research projects of keen import for the evolving relationship between the United Church of Canada and Canadian society. A portion of their research was conducted for the Centre for the Study of Religion in Canada. Hutchinson and Airhart also sponsored a number of public related events and published several books as a result of their detailed analysis of the United Church of Canada and Canadian society.
