The purpose of this project was to research and design a comprehensive four-year educational program for adult Christians, assisting them to understand more fully how spirituality and Christian psychology underlie the most pressing "real-life" issues of the day. Known as INNERACTION, the project was to employ an innovative pedagogy based on mutual interdependence of print and video components for small and large groups. Richard Groves, project director, engaged in extensive research and development with experts in the fields of theology, psychology, adult education, human development, and creative pedagogy. A second portion of the project designed a series of questionnaires, polls, and surveys to obtain accurate statistical data on the immediate concerns of church members. Groves also created evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of the series.
