Seminary Retreat Program

Project Number:
Start Date:
Tue, 05/01/1990

Kirkridge, a national conference and retreat center, developed a coherent and consistent program of retreats for faculty representatives and students from seven eastern theological schools. Three retreats were held, one each year over a three-year period, during which time Kirkridge aided each school in coming to a clear understanding of how it might contribute to the spiritual formation of its own students. Previously, the project director and director of Kirkridge, Robert A. Raines, had conducted such retreats with the nine schools involved in this project. Those involved were Yale, Union (in New York), New York Theological, Drew, Lancaster, Lutheran of Philadelphia, General Seminary in New York, Weston, and Howard Divinity School. (KA)
