Project Number:
Start Date:
Monday, November 30, 1998
End Date:
Tuesday, December 31, 2002

Phillips Theological Seminary identified and improved ways in which students can successfully negotiate the transition between the seminary culture and the church culture. The seminary also performed a full-scale curriculum review to enhance its capacity for preparing candidates for congregational ministry. The school reestablished the supervised ministry program and hired a full-time director of field education to support its efforts. The grant also enabled the seminary to vastly improve its information technology infrastructure.
