Washington Theological Union enhanced its spiritual formation program for lay students, developed financial resources for the education of lay students, initiated outreach to potential students in the Hispanic community, and provided students with career and placement resources under the auspices of this grant. The Union initiated and established reinvigorated relationships with several local congregations and the Archdiocese of Washington which was a particularly significant outcome of the project.
